Certifire requires that products meet the same requirements based on the CE marking, however Certifire is an independent third party certification at a higher level, this mark enables manufacturers to highlight the difference between their products & those which are only tested to the minimum CE marking standard.

The main requirements for certifire, along with meeting the requirements for CE marking are ISO9001:2000 certified, independent audit testing and a comprehensive field of application document based on carefully chosen tests. Certifire is designed to give people confidence in the product, certifire is recognised by regulatory authorities both in the UK and overseas.

A certifier certificate validates products suitability for use & precisely defines the limits of its suitability. It offers manufacturers the means to independently demonstrate the quality & performance of their product and it provides purchasers with the assurance that certified products will do the job expected of them.
